Press Release

Following another  astonishing season on NBC, last night  at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, America’s Got Talent named Grace VanderWaal the winner of the sensational Season 11. VanderWaal will headline an exclusive engagement of America’s Got Talent Live, a stage show version of the NBC #1 rated television show of the summer, in Las Vegas Thursday, Oct. 27, Friday, Oct. 28 and Saturday, Oct. 29 in the PH Showroom at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The starring role in America’s Got Talent Live is in addition to the million dollar prize VanderWaal won during the exciting live Season 11 finale.

Grace VanderWaal is a 12-year-old singer-songwriter from New York. Her passion for music began early as she began to make up songs at the age of three and started piano lessons when she was four. Eventually, VanderWaal picked up the saxophone at 10 years old and played in her school’s marching and concert band. For her 11th birthday, VanderWaal bought a ukulele and learned to play the instrument from watching YouTube videos. From that moment, the ukulele has been her instrument of choice and she honed her talent by performing at various open mic nights in New York and New Jersey.

Joining VanderWaal on the Las Vegas stage will be the mystifying Season 11 runner-up act, The Clairvoyants, along with Top 10 comedic finalist, Tape Face.

When they first met, Tommy Ten and Amelie van Taas of The Clairvoyants discovered that they had a very special connection. What started as a heightened sense of intuition quickly grew into something far more intriguing. As the years passed, their incredible connection blossomed into a skill that they wanted to share with others. What began as intimate performances for friends and family soon developed into tours of schools and universities. As their audiences grew, so did their desire to bring this extraordinary talent to the biggest stages in the world.

Before he set out performing, Tape Face listened to every piece of music recorded in the 80s and 90s and went shopping at the local dollar store. Only after working out what order he should put things into his bag, did he start performing for audiences around the world, including a princess at the Royal Variety Performance in England. His comedy style incorporates audience interaction, surreal silences and finding ways to remind people that it’s never too late to not grow up.

Tickets for America’s Got Talent Live range in price from $55 to $185
